Il contributo delinea l’impegno delle FMA in Italia durante la prima guerra mondiale attraverso fonti interne ed esterne all’Istituto. Emerge una partecipazione convinta delle religiose alle necessita assistenziali, sia come infermiere ed assistenti negli ospedali militari, sia nelle opere a favore degli orfani e dei figli dei richiamati.
