The author reveals first of all that in today’s culture the discourse on the virtues is frequently considered as problematic and treated with a certain diffidence and prejudice. For this reason, in the second place, the author analyses several key concepts which are a necessary presupposition in order to face the development of a paideia of virtue in a constructive and systematic manner.

L’Autore constata anzitutto che nella cultura odierna il discorso sulle virtù è frequentemente ritenuto problematico e trattato spesso con diffidente pregiudizio.
Per questo, in secondo luogo analizza, sul piano teorico, alcuni concetti-chiave quali necessari presupposti per poter affrontare lo sviluppo di una paideia della virtù in modo costruttivo e sistematico.
