The Master's Degree or Licentiate course in Planning and Management of School and Training Services trains coordinators and leaders of schools of every type and level as well as vocational training centres. It enables graduates to coordinate and manage centres for the promotion and training of women and for adult education in settings with specific training needs.

At the end of the course of study, graduates must demonstrate:

  • to have acquired specialist knowledge and skills in educational science;
  • an ability for planning education and training in schools, in vocational training centres and in adult education;
  • the capacity to coordinate, organise and manage school services, vocational training and the training of adults, including through the internship;
  • the capacity to develop educational projects, networking with other institutions and focusing specific attention on issues arising from different multicultural contexts, the education of women, and the prevention of early withdrawal from school;
  • to have acquired the necessary communication and interpersonal skills for running and coordinating educational and training activities;
  • to have developed skills for researching and assessing the quality of education and training;
  • to know and use a foreign language correctly.

The Master’s Degree course covers two years, during which 120 ECTS credits must be obtained. To obtain the necessary credits to graduate students must carry out the required training activities (courses, seminars and workshops) and an internship, as stated in the study programme.
