Summary

The author offers a synthetic panorama of the activities that the Roman Caritas group carries out on behalf of the immigrants and other Italians in difficult circumstances. Clemente also recalls the initiatives that the Caritas carries out on the European level, pointing out some problems which are still being faced, such as the protection and promotion of the children.
